RadioAirplay.com Review Lovers Lullaby

Overall Impression: Impeccably performed and beautifully written, “Lovers Lullaby” is a fantastic piece of folk laden country songwriting that boasts a sterling arrangement, compelling vocal melodies, and most importantly, plenty of heart. Accomplished and seasoned writer/performer Jason Rogers encompasses the very best of what the country genre has to offer, from the personable sense of character that runs through the music to the affable nature of the performances, “Lovers Lullaby” is a wonderfully wholesome track that will many a music lover can appreciate.

Strongest Point(s): At the core of any great country track is a vocal performance that listeners can easily connect with and Jason does a superb job of bringing a pleasantly mellow vocal presence to the song, a presence that graciously interacts with the tender natured arpeggiated guitar progression perfectly, allowing the music to adopt a particular free-flowing quality that allows for an easy-going and tranquil listening experience from start to finish. I also greatly appreciate the way in which Jason subtly expands the textural properties of the track gradually over time and having individual elements of the instrumentation introduced piece by piece really helps the arrangement feel both organic and dynamic. Opening with just the vocals and guitar parts allows the listener to establish a strong connection with the themes of the song before elements such as the pads and vocal layers are used to help flesh out the overall soundscape, this allows the arrangement to build upon its timbral palette in a natural way that gives listeners time to really soak up the songs many nuanced layers.

Target Audience Appeal: “Lovers Lullaby” is a compelling folk-inspired country track and I’m sure lovers of the genre will find it to be a welcome listening experience. Artist target suggestions: Eric Church, Willie Nelson, Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, Justin Townes Earle, Jackson Browne, Guy Clark, Lydia Luce, Jason Isbell, Johnny Cash, Shawn James, Mary Gauthier, Chris Stapleton, Jim Croce

After a long stint of disappearing from the music industry Jason Rogers has surprised us all by launching his new Country music single “Lovers Lullaby” which is now available October 13, 2022 everywhere you can buy music.  This will be the first of several Country music releases that Rogers has in store for you.  His fans have called on him and he has answered them.

The song Lovers Lullaby was inspired by Jason’s love of romance.  He has always had a soft side and wanted to show that with his new music release.  Rogers grew up believing in love and at times has become discouraged with sex being sold over love in this younger generation.  “I believe love has its ups and downs and with trust and commitment at the core most relationships will be successful.”  Jason has found success in the music industry in various areas since he began and could not hide in the woods any longer.  He wrote Lovers Lullaby many years ago but never released it to the public believing the timing was not right.  Now you can download Lovers Lullaby at your favorite music outlet and the song will also be available to use on social networks such as TikTok for making your videos.

Lovers Lullaby will be sure to warm your heart as it is a simple, pure, easy listening song.  This song will remind you of someone you are with, someone you remember, or someone you have not yet met.  It is a song that might remind you of family members or maybe friends. It is a song that covers two people in love from beginning to end.

The comical side of Cowboy Jason Rogers

Jason Rogers no doubt writes true red, white and blue Country music songs that have been played on a multitude of radio stations, have been featured in many magazines, and have won many awards but he also has a comical side to him.  You will find Jason picking up his acoustic guitar and entertaining people with some songs just for fun on various social media sites.  These might not be your typical radio songs but Rogers does it for pure enjoyment.

Songs like “The Toyota Fart” or “Toby’s Toyota” in which he teases his friend Toby Arsenault about owning so many Toyota trucks. Even songs like “Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up Like Joe Biden” which is political satire and not an advertisement but a funny remake of “Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys.” The real song was written by Ed Bruce whom Rogers got to banter with on the phone many times in Bruce’s latter years.  It was a great country music hit sung by Ed Bruce, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.  Jason put his own spin on the song and has received quite a bit of internet attention from it.  When asking Cowboy Jason about the song he says, “The song isn’t meant to upset anyone.  It is more like a late night tv show where they make fun of random politicians.”  Jason Rogers has also made personal birthday songs for friends and even wrote a song called “Half The Hafford” about his good friend Chip Hafford who has become quite a TikTok star in the State of Maine and across the USA after quitting drinking on TikTok and it going viral.  “I know Chip, he is a good guy who drank heavily at one time.  When thousands of people across the USA started pouring out their alcohol on the ground and saying it was for Chip I knew a song had to be written about him.  He has a big heart and is funny as heck”.  The Hafford family and Chip enjoyed the song so much Jason decided to record it in Nashville in 2023.  “The song really applies to all of us as we get older, we are only half of what we used to be.. hahaha.”  The song will be released sometime in the latter half of 2023.

Cowboy Jason loves writing both in-the-box and out-of-the box songs.  Be on the lookout for more funny songs on Jason’s social networks as we are sure there will be many more to come.
